Redefining the Double D
-
The iconic Dolby Double D logo struggled to adapt across a fragmented design landscape. Its inconsistent use across departments and lack of flexibility limited its impact in today’s dynamic, multi-platform environment. Dolby needed a unified design system that could scale — both internally and externally — while expressing the brand’s creative and technical leadership.

At the center is a refined Double D mark: two halves forming a complete circle, symbolizing how Dolby’s innovative technologies come together to create a seamless, immersive experience for the audience. This system also introduces the Dolby Gallery — a flexible framework that showcases the brand’s creativity across every platform and touchpoint.
